ABU DHABI, 19th January, 2023 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, participated in a virtual meeting held today with Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser of Bahrain, Jake Sullivan, US National Security Adviser, and Tzachi Hanegbi, Chairman of the Israeli National Security Council.
The meeting's participants discussed their cooperation and coordination in several areas of mutual interest, as well as a number of promising partnerships, including the I2U2 Group that involves the UAE, the US, India and Israel, and the Negev Summit held in Abu Dhabi.
They also talked about the progress achieved following the signing of the Abraham Accords, along with ways of boosting regional integration in areas such as food and water security, clean energy, emerging technologies and trade relations.
They then welcomed the hosting of COP28, which will be held at the end of 2023.
At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Tahnoun, Sheikh Nasser, Sullivan and Hanegbi highlighted the importance of continuing their coordination in areas of mutual concern.
