JERUSALEM, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Israel's high-tech industry exports increased by 25 percent in 2021, compared to the previous year, the country's Central Bureau of Statistics reported Thursday.
Israel's high-tech exports totaled 20.16 billion U.S. dollars last year, up from 16.13 billion U.S. dollars in 2020, according to the bureau.
In December 2021, Israel's high-tech exports totaled 2.02 billion U.S. dollars, up 32.9 percent from the 1.52 billion dollars in December 2020.
In 2021, Israel's total exports increased by 18.5 percent to 56.28 billion U.S. dollars, up from 47.49 billion U.S. dollars in 2020.
Last year, Israel's imports totaled nearly 89.1 billion U.S. dollars, up 29.6 percent from 68.75 billion U.S. dollars in 2020.
